We invest across all industries

We do not exclude any industries. We consider all proposals from medium-sized companies. We invest in:

• established medium-sized companies, especially family enterprises,
• companies with their headquarters in German-speaking countries,
• sustainable business models supported by experienced management, positive cash flow and prospects for growth.

Our capital is our own

We are never under any yield-driven pressure to exit because VR Equitypartner is not a fund.

How we approach company successions: We are committed to the following principles:

• ensuring that none of our investments are burdened by excessively high debt,
• a sense of partnership between majority and minority shareholders,
• applying no selling pressure and setting no pre-determined exit time frame,
• trusting in qualified management, not restricting companies in their operational decision-making,
• showing active engagement as a shareholder and strategic partner, supporting our portfolio companies with management know-how and our network of experts.

We aim to hold our interests – both majority and minority shareholdings – for a period of five to eight years. However, longer holding periods are also possible if considered necessary.
